Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

 

As the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst in the area of Accounting and Finance, you will be doing the following:

 

  • Coordinate and execute Opex, M&S investment, and Capex planning cycles in line with market and regional timelines, partnering closely with business stakeholders to collect, validate, and consolidate planning inputs, ensure the timely and accurate submission of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans, and maintain planning data across relevant systems and templates.
  • Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, analyze variances to identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities, and translate insights into clear, concise financial analyses and management reports that support decision‑making at local, regional, and global levels.
  • Act as a trusted finance business partner to budget owners by constructively challenging assumptions, supporting stakeholders in understanding financial impacts, and providing financial input into commercial initiatives, projects, and business cases, while promoting cost awareness and financial discipline across the organization.
  • Maintain, enhance, and standardize financial models, reports, and planning templates, support automation and simplification of FP&A processes where feasible, and contribute to the continuous improvement of planning and reporting quality.
  • Support the FP&A Manager and Finance leadership through ad‑hoc analyses and requests, while contributing to finance projects and cross‑functional initiatives aligned with evolving business priorities.

 

What does success in this role look like?

 

Success in this role is demonstrated through accurate and timely planning and forecasting, insightful performance analysis, strong business partnering with stakeholders, continuous improvement of FP&A processes and tools, and reliable support to finance leadership in driving informed, value‑adding decisions.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; a master’s degree is considered an advantage.
  • Around 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or financial analysis, with exposure to an international or FMCG environment valued but not required.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken; proficiency in Khmer is required for effective local collaboration.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, analysis, and automation.
  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems, with the ability to adapt to new tools and systems.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools is an advantage.
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key business drivers.
  • A structured, detail‑oriented working style, balanced with flexibility in dynamic environments.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
