Field Marketing Manager
As the Field Marketing Manager in the area of Marketing, you will do the following:
- Top-Down, Regional Strategy and Bottom-Up Opportunities: You will lead the regional field marketing strategy in alignment with national top‑down direction, translating national plans into clear regional cycle priorities. You will proactively identify and develop bottom‑up opportunities informed by consumer and trade insights, and prepare compelling, insight-driven proposals that represent the regional perspective to the National Field Marketing Lead. In this role, you will also serve as the project lead for key top‑down field marketing initiatives, ensuring cohesive execution, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the seamless integration of regional needs into broader marketing plans.
- Consumer Engagement and Trade Activation: You will define consumer‑first engagement strategies across all trade channels, ensuring that activations effectively drive trial, recruitment, visibility, and meaningful brand experiences. You will also set and uphold clear execution standards to ensure consistency, quality, and excellence in every in‑market activation.
- Field Execution Governance and Coaching: You will provide strategic guidance, playbooks, and clear execution standards to Field Marketing Associates, supporting them with the tools and direction they need to succeed. You will develop and coach the team to strengthen regional field marketing capabilities, conducting regular field visits and governance checks to ensure high‑quality execution. You will also measure program effectiveness, ensure compliance with established standards, and drive continuous improvement across all field marketing initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Influence: You will work closely with Regional Sales Leads, Channel Leads, the Wholesale Lead, Brand teams, and other cross‑functional partners to ensure strong alignment and collaborative execution. You will influence stakeholders through clear communication, compelling presentations, and effective storytelling. In this role, you will also integrate field marketing priorities into regional business planning to ensure cohesive, consumer‑focused strategies across the organization.
- Budget and Performance: You will manage regional field marketing program investments and monitor budgets, prioritizing initiatives based on KPIs and ROI to ensure smart and impactful resource allocation. You will oversee end‑to‑end program performance management, generating actionable insights and continuously optimizing regional plans to drive stronger outcomes and efficiency.
- Field Presence Expectation: You will maintain a strong field presence to validate trade and consumer experiences, assess execution quality, and ensure that strategies remain grounded in real market conditions. You will also provide regular updates on regional and territory-level field insights, enabling data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement across teams.
What does success in this role look like?
Success in this role means effectively translating national field marketing strategies into strong, insight‑led regional plans that drive impactful execution on the ground. You consistently deliver high‑quality, consumer‑first activations across channels, ensure clear execution standards, and build strong field capability through coaching and governance. You influence and align cross‑functional stakeholders, manage budgets responsibly based on ROI and KPIs, and use field insights and performance data to continuously refine plans, ensuring strategies stay relevant, well‑executed, and grounded in real market conditions.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 6–9 years of experience in Field or Trade Marketing, Consumer and Trade Activation, Sales, or broader Marketing functions.
- Professional proficiency in English and Khmer, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently across teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy and how it translates into field execution.
- Consumer centricity mindset and strong business acumen
- Experience in managing investment prioritization (KPI & ROI driven) and measurement of program effectiveness is also an added advantage.
- Solid knowledge of regional trade channels and their dynamics.
- Demonstrated business acumen, with the ability to translate insights into strategic recommendations and execution guidance.
- A proven consumer‑centric mindset, with a passion for understanding and advocating for consumer needs.
- Strong influencing skills, along with experience in delivering presentations and developing compelling content.
