Field Force Effectiveness Supervisor
As the Field Force Effectiveness Supervisor in the area of Sales, you will be doing the following:
- Capability Development Needs Analysis: Provide support to the Field Force Effectiveness Lead in identifying skill and knowledge gaps and capability development needs across the field force, prioritizing development opportunities, and developing plans to support continuous learning and growth.
- Training Development and Planning: Assist the Field Force Effectiveness Lead in developing the annual training cycle plan; proposing solutions and developing training content and materials by tailoring and localizing learning resources to enhance relevance and alignment with local needs; integrating internal and external best practices; adapting global and regional programs for local implementation; and developing and managing onboarding programs for new field force team members. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and training providers to support the delivery of non-sales-specific training and learning solutions for the field force.
- Training Delivery: Support the Field Force Effectiveness Lead in delivering training content to the field force through hands-on, on-the-job learning experiences, preferably within the field team's operating environment, to enhance learning relevance and support the practical application of skills and knowledge in day-to-day work.
- Post Training and Evaluation Follow Up: Assist the Field Force Effectiveness Lead in preparing post-training activities, including assessing the effectiveness of training content and delivery approaches, supporting performance tracking and continuous improvement initiatives, evaluating training effectiveness, and following up with field force teams on the implementation of agreed training action plans and commitments following training delivery.
- Digitial Capability Development Platform Usage: Actively seek opportunities to share relevant inputs, content, and feedback to support and accelerate the adoption and effective use of the Elevate Sales Academy digital platform, helping enhance learning accessibility and capability development across the field force.
- Sales Incentive Plan Management: Assist the Field Force Effectiveness Lead in designing sales incentive schemes and managing monthly and quarterly sales incentive programs in a timely and effective manner to motivate, recognize, and reward the Sales Force for achieving predefined sales performance objectives that directly support the Company's commercial strategy and business results.
- Administration and Budget Management: Provide logistical, administrative, and coordination support for training, Field Force Effectiveness (FFE), and Sales Incentive Program (SIP) activities, including budget planning, monitoring, and tracking to support the effective delivery of capability-building and commercial initiatives.
What does success in this role look like?
Success in this role means building a highly capable, well-trained, and high-performing field force that consistently delivers strong sales and execution results. You will achieve this by identifying capability gaps, developing and implementing impactful training and coaching programs, ensuring the effective transfer of learning into day-to-day field execution, tracking training effectiveness and performance improvements, driving adoption of learning platforms and development initiatives, supporting sales incentive programs, and partnering closely with sales leaders to ensure development plans are translated into measurable business outcomes. Ultimately, success is reflected in stronger field force capabilities, improved execution excellence, increased engagement, and sustained achievement of commercial objectives.
Who are we looking for?
- University degree
- At least 3 years of experience in field sales, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- At least 2 years of experience leading or managing a field sales team, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of different sales channels, trade dynamics, and consumer behavior.
- Experience in training and coaching field force teams in field marketing and sales.
- Versatile, highly adaptable, and able to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams with varying levels of experience and knowledge.
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Good organizational skills with a structured approach to work.
- Able and willing to travel within the country as required.
- Very good command of English and Khmer
- Advanced presentation skills and a strong ability to engage, motivate, and encourage others through public speaking.
- Strong coaching and training skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
