Area Sales Supervisor (Svay Rieng / Prey Veng)
The role supervises a team of salesmen to deliver volume and SKU distribution targets through strong territory execution, outlet expansion, trade relationship management, and disciplined cash collection and reporting.
As the Area Sales Supervisor, you will be doing the following:
- Supervise salesmen to achieve volume targets by brand/SKU through daily and weekly performance monitoring
- Drive SKU distribution, product availability, visibility, outlet coverage, call productivity, and strike rate performance
- Review route plans and provide direction to improve coverage efficiency and expand into new outlets
- Monitor retail stock levels, prevent out-of-stocks, and ensure stock rotation is executed properly
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners to strengthen support and loyalty
- Manage cash collection and retail credit accuracy, and follow up on outstanding items to reduce risk
- Ensure salesmen use TME Lite correctly and submit accurate reports on time
- Support line manager with assigned tasks and ad hoc field projects as needed
- If applicable, recruit, motivate, coach, and develop team members to strengthen field capability
What does success in this role look like?
Success looks like consistently achieving territory volume and SKU distribution targets with strong outlet expansion, high execution standards in-store, accurate cash and credit control, and timely, reliable reporting from the field team.
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum high school graduate; bachelor’s degree is an advantage
- Up to three years of experience managing salespeople in an FMCG or similar environment
- Excellent Khmer communication skills; good English communication and writing skills
- Computer literacy and ability to work with sales tools and reporting (including TME Lite)
- Strong persuasive selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven supervisory capability, ability to coach and monitor performance, and ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrates “Keep it Simple”, “Make it Happen”, “Be Accountable”, “One Team” behaviours in day-to-day work
