BUILDING & UTILITY MANAGER 

Manage and lead the maintenance procedures for building and utility equipment at all GSC Indonesia factory locations in order to ensure operational effectiveness, include manage budgeting and contract negotiations with third party.

 

As the Building & Utility Manager you are responsible for:

  • Building & Utility Management
    • Create workplan for Building & Utility team for maintenance and repair activities in all locations and monitor the implementation, include tracking expenses and oversee the budget for all maintenance activities and conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
    • Ensure all building are in good condition and utility system works effective to support production activities and create a safe workplace.
    • Review Building Maintenance & Utility system procedures, include review operating permits to stay updated and comply with regulation.
  • Third Party Management
    • Identify third party who are able to perform building maintenance & utility equipment project by reviewing the proposal, negotiate the contract, monitor the execution of maintenance work and evaluate the whole process to ensure the third party works as per requirements and comply with JTI standard, regulations & procedures.
  • People Management
    • Manage performance Building & Utility team , allocate workload and develop the team to ensure the team member meets the individual KPI and able to support Engineering department goals.
  • QHSE-En Management
    • Ensure that appropriate control measures for Quality, Safety, Health, Environmental, and Energy (QSHE-En) are known and implemented.
    • Ensure QHSE-En methods are developed and ensure all employees within his/her area of responsibility receive appropriate QHSE-En training and required qualification.
    • Actively implement and promote QHSE-En leadership, QSHE-En culture, actively demonstrate commitment to QHSE-En through leading by example, and proactively take actions to continuously improve QSHE-En performance.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from reputable university
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Engineering, Building and utility management in Factory
  • Fluent in English (both speaking and writing)
  • Building Maintenance / Facility Management Principles & Methods
  • Mechanical and electrical system principles & methods
  • Budgeting
