Trade Activation Manager

 

The Trade Activation Manager is responsible for building the trade activation strategy and programs covering all channels.

 

As the Trade Activation Manager in the area of Marketing, you will: 

 

Trade Strategy

  • Help develop our trade strategy and investment prioritization for a given plan period in accordance to the brand campaigns and national sales objectives.
  • Assesses  and measures campaigns and programs, and proactively propose corrective actions and insights.
  • Interpret the field insights and trade and retailer segmentation outcome to plan key strategies for the trade activation abd budget planning.
  • Drive the implementation of trade engagement digital platforms in collaboration with regional and global functions and external agency. 

 

Program Execution

  • Responsible to act as check and balance of brand, strategic insights, field marketing (strategic trade engagement team) and Sales to ensure activations are in line with overall strategy.
  • Responsible to assess and measure field activations and field insights to find opportunities and troubleshoot challenges for necessary actions.

 

Communication & Reporting

  • Represents several key capabilities within Trade Marketing and the wider organization.
  • Provide suitable reportings that deliver the big picture on a regular basis.
  • Given the high seniority of this role, it is expected reportings to be 'ready-made' for senior management (top-line, strategy level, big picture, link reports with the wider business implications).
  • Ensure reportings are presented with a high level of professionalism and visual appearance to allow quick understanding. 

 

Requirements:

  • High standard of university degree (required)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in FMCG marketing and sales functions at managerial level with outstanding communication, presentation & team leadership skills
  • Process oriented and highly dynamic showing an ability to have an empathetic outlook in understanding the objectives of those he or she works with
  • Abstract, conceptual thinking & solid presentation skills are key assets
