The Trade Engagement Executive is the overall lead for channel health and development within the assigned territory. He/She is responsible for the development, implementation, and review of territory programs for both the short and long term ensuring the growth of the JTI portfolio in terms of distribution, market dominance, expansion, consumer preference, profitability, and overall execution. He/she will manage the framework of the relationship between JTI and the trade within the assigned territory by developing and implementing strategic business building programs to enhance equity, consumer loyalty, company image, trade partnership, accelerate trade development and growth of long term sustainability, and profitability. He/she is the Trade Engagement Executive is a representative that coordinates with field sales in the assigned territory.




    • Review and understand all relevant information within the assigned territory through data understanding, competitive review, fieldwork, and insight in order to identify issues and opportunities and develop appropriate short-term and long-term plans for JTI brands within the territory.

    • Responsible for initiating and securing complete project approval (OPB) and all operational mandatories to run the program (Coordination with Promo Agencies, PPO, Suppliers, TME encoding, testing, and production).


    • Develop selling tools and lead in the briefing to field sales in order to guide them in the proper execution of programs across trade partners and outlets consistent with program objectives, timelines, allocations, and all other company protocols.

    • Manage overall deployment and implementation of Brand-led /Area SFM-led/ Zonal SFM-led activities in the territory. Key representative of Shopper Field Marketing fin overseeing all activities in the territory which will cover but not be limited to: deals, price offs, trade incentives, bundling activities (multi-pack or premium), trade rebates, sampling, and brand activations.

    • Manage full-year Sales and Marketing activity calendar in the territory.


    • Survey program execution to ensure compliance with standards / intended trade impact. Immediately resolve or address any program issues.

    • Review performance vs objectives in terms of volume, implementation guidelines, competitive response, ease in the implementation, promo spending (ROI, CTSR, CTISR). Oversee, monitor, measure execution success and program post-evaluation.


    • New Product: Support Brand and Shopper Field Marketing on New Product Launches. Plans out pipeline volumes, distribution, merchandising, and pricing standards for the territory. Develop new product trade programs that will help field sales towards the achievement of business objectives.

    • Route to Market: Provide support in understanding and developing an efficient route to market model.


    • Responsible for promotions budget management and proper use of program tools and materials up until closure and depletion. Establish strict management for program enablers and other support selling stock controls such as

      • a. monetary budget

      • b. free goods

      • c. merchandising materials

      • d. premium items

      • e. physical counting of selling stocks (depot and vehicles)

    • Perform other necessary ad hoc tasks that may arise as part of brand / competitive dynamics in the assigned area.​​​​​​​



  • College Graduate
  • Preferably 3-5 years experience in Sales, Trade/Channel Marketing or Marketing that includes on-ground Field Sales experience from an FMCG company.
