Procurement Associate (1 Month Contract)

This temporary position supports the SAP migration project across three factories and the market in Egypt, as well as assisting with GSC category procurement activities within the GIP MENA Cluster.
The associate will support SAP implementation activities including data cleansing, testing, and system validation, while also assisting with day-to-day GSC procurement operations aligned with global strategy and local execution.
All tasks are performed under the guidance of the Cluster Category Manager GSC, ensuring regional alignment, cost optimization, and compliance with JTI’s Global Procurement Policies and Procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Support SAP migration activities across the three Egyptian factories and market, including data cleansing, master data validation, system testing (UAT), and documentation of test results. Ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned migration tasks in line with the project plan and under the guidance of the Cluster Category Manager GSC.
- Assist in GSC procurement operations by supporting the development and implementation of regional/local procurement plans in line with global/regional directives. Help consolidate purchase requirements, send purchase orders
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives by assisting with the preparation of bidding documents, supplier comparison sheets, and evaluation summaries. Help ensure sustainable supply and value delivery through organized and compliant procurement documentation.
- Support cost optimization and continuous improvement projects by maintaining procurement-related analytical reports and trackers. Assist with data analysis, spend reporting, and KPI tracking to support the achievement of savings targets and procurement KPIs
- Help build and maintain strong business partnerships with key stakeholders by ensuring timely communication, supporting alignment of procurement strategy with business needs, and assisting in cross-functional coordination as directed by the Cluster Category Manager.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering. Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Fresh graduates with a very strong academic record are preferred.
- English (business level required and very fluent); Arabic (native or fluent).
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel). Familiarity with SAP is a strong advantage and perferable. Willingness to learn SAP procurement modules (MM/PM) is essential.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, basic understanding of procurement/supply chain processes, data accuracy, proactive learning mindset, team collaboration.
