Channels Strategy and Investment Specialist

Location: Moscow, Russia

Reporting to: Channels strategy & budget group manager

Role: temporary



  • Participation in trade channel strategy development for RMC and RRP category (provide analytical information, technical calculations, presentations and recommendations preparation), incl. ASP/LE processes
  • Support Census processes (process organization, technical calculations, communication with stakeholders, data analysis)
  • Maintain calculations and ensure proper implementation of distribution targets, support development and implementation of Retail Performance Standards
  • Provide data analysis of market dynamics and competitors’ positions in Trade, participate in strategy adjustments in case of necessity
  • Support ASP preparation and budget reviews processes; provide budget usage control and analytical information in projects related to trade investment strategy
  • Participate in investment planning and investment KPIs development in Trade channels, ensuring optimal investment principles implementation; support negotiation pre-alignment process with Key Accounts and General Trade in accordance with Company strategy & KPI;
  • Perform ad/hoc projects and tasks



  • University Degree, preferably math/marketing/economical specialization;
  • At least 1+ year experience in FMCG multinational company (Trade Marketing/Key Accounts/Sales as a plus)
  • English: Upper-Intermediate (spoken, written);
  • Advanced PC user (knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point);
  • Strong planning and analytical skills; structed approach, strategic thinking, accountability, attention to details;
  • Pronounced drive results behavior;
  • Ability to work with the large amount of information;
  • Organized & responsible person with ability to learn quickly;
  • Excellent time management, coordination and communication skills, ability to work under time pressure;
  • As a plus: knowledge of tobacco industry, business understanding of trade and brand marketing, field force operations, processes and structure.
