Anti-illicit Trade Operations (AITO) Manager

Moscow HQ based, reporting to the Regional AITO Director

Position purpose:

JTI as the Russia market leading tobacco company has been negatively affected by the illegal trade (counterfeiting, smuggling, illegal distribution, etc.). To promote sustainability and protect JTI’s business, it is necessary to introduce a strong AIT presence to ensure proactive and preventative measures are implemented. The role includes, but is not limited to, identifying, developing, managing and directing AITO programs through external Service Providers (SPs) to undertake investigations & gather/share intelligence with national authorities and law enforcement agencies across Russia and the EAEU region.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work in collaboration with other business functions and external partners to protect company’s interest against illegal trade
  • Manage AITO programs, undertake investigations, information gathering & analysis
  • Liaison with law enforcement agencies in Russia, support their investigations and prosecutions.
  • Support and report to senior management
  • Be ready to take business trips

 

MAJOR REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Ability and will to learn and adapt news skills
  • Business ethics, agile mindset, winning attitude, balance of leadership & accountability
  • Experience in private or public investigations / legal services or IP enforcement/ audit / law enforcement / project management
  • Good knowledge of English language, both written and verbal
  • Good analytical, reporting and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Good / advanced computer skills (MS Office, Power BI, etc.)
  • University degree (business, economics, law, or other related fields)
