SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - MOBILE DEVELOPMENT

Mobile Software Developer will be part of the TME DC Mobile Development team. This team is accountable of the corrective and preventive maintenance, delivery of new features and monitoring of business transactions. The incumbent will be more focused on the Mobile solution (Middleware and Application). TME Execution Mobile is the key application for the TME field force as being the front end to run their daily marketing and sales activities. It is a customly built mobile solution consisting of 2 parts: a mobile application front-end and a data synchronization engine to feed the mobile application with data from backend system and viceversa (mobile middleware)

The incumbent will assist and provide support on different tasks in the software development cycle related to the mobile application & middleware, working closely with a Mobile Software Engineer or directly with the Mobile Application Development Team Manager:
- Collaborate in the desing of the solutions in the mobile area.
- Hands-on development to fulfill business scope defined by User Stories and Detailed Technical Designs.
- Assist on managing the development provided by offshore external team.
- Help to coordinate with 3rd party teams
- Provide support and maintenance for the solutions in production (Incident Mgmt, Bug fixing & Troubleshooting)
- Support execution of unit test, integration test and regression test.
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Monitor business transactions/performance reports

What will you do?

1) Become knowledgable about the custom TME Mobile solution

• Good understanding of Azure components used to build the custom TME Mobile solution. 
• Knowledgable about Mobile Middleware & Application to be able to identify the relevant pieces and follow the code for debugging, root-cause analysis and coding fixes and enhancements.
• Strong understanding of back-end (Siebel) data model and the integrations with the Mobile Middleware.
• With the support from Mobile Software Engineers be part of the team designing new capabilities.

2) TME Execution Mobile maintenance

• Support the Mobile solution (application & middleware) in TME Execution: 
  • Collaborate with Mobile Software Engineers to deliver an efficient technical support for incident analysis and triage meetings minimizing business disruption.
  • Incident Management and Troubleshoothing tasks. Timely update assigned tasks, provide response and solution within agreed team's timelines 
  • Hands-on tasks (analysis, coding, unit testing) to find the root cause. Propose fixes and troubleshooting problems with existing products or systems in order to identify and resolve malfunctions.
  • Assist to plan and design bug fixes or enhancements (coming from Business/BTS requests or technical inhousing). 
  • Develop/Code bug fixes or enhancements.
  • Collaborate with release manager to plan and support UAT phases and delivery to PRD.
  • Daily monitor for exisiting dashboards and reports ensuring correctness of the execution and no business disruption
  • Run unit, regression, integrated and performance test.

3) Evolution (Change Request) of TME Execution Mobile 

• Support the Mobile Software Engineers with the scope definition coming from TME Markets/BTS as product owners.
• Be involved in the Solution design for new features and change requests.
• Implement the change requests by hands-on development.
• Help with the Coordination and Development management of the 3rd party offshore development team. Including Detailed Technical Designs reviews, provide feedback to Mobile Software Engineers for approvals or rejections. Support testing and code merge activities.
• Collaborate to implement and configure the tools to monitor and control the data transactions among the ecosystem. 
• Support Mobile Software Engineers in some project management tasks in terms of building the status update, potential issues & risks.

What will you do?

• University, college degree or Education in the computer science or equivalent.                                            
• 3 years of IT experience 
• 2+ years of experience in application development (configuration, coding, deployment/release)
• At least 1 year of experience in development in one of the following areas: mobile, integrations or custom applications
• Fluent in English                                             
• Knowledge of software development and familiarity with some of the following technologies, such as C#, .NET, Mobile Front-End (Xamarin and Xamarin Forms), RESTful APIs, JSON, SOAP Webservices, SQL and KQL 
• Exposure to custom applications development and integrations in Azure Cloud: Azure Security & Resource Groups, SQL Server, App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Azure Storage, App Insights, Workbooks and Dashboards.
• Additional valued skills: Microsoft App Center, Logic Apps, Hybrid Connector, IaC with Terraform.
• Experience developing and maintaining application integrations using custom developed solutions and familiarity with the usage of Visual Studio IDE.
• Good written and oral communication skills (including ability to present ideas in userfriendly and technical language) 
• Experience working in a multinational environment with remote teams
• Excellent analytical thinking and Problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail in analysis and design.
• Knowledge and experience in software life cycle process from business requirements gathering to design and coding, code verification, testing, implementation and upgrade.
• Exposure to cloud computing and agile methodologies and experience using Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD processes.
