EHS Manager
The role will be responsible to lead Factory EHS Department in line with company objectives, Global EHS, Global Engineering expectations and local laws/regulations to ensure a continuous and timely supply of quality product to markets.
As the EHS Manager in the area of Manufacturing, you will:
Heath and Safety:
- Implement and monitor defined Health and Safety KPIs to evaluate the production process and performance in order to deliver quality and safe product to the markets with minimum impact to health and safety
- Manage and review KPI's results on a monthly basis to identify areas for improvement
- Initiate and coordinate relevant EHS improvement activities for safe operations and environment
- Plan, align with Global EHS and execute global EHS projects while ensuring full compliance to local laws and regulations
Energy & EHS IMS and Compliance:
- Lead and maintain sustainable EEHS IMS factory wide in order to secure implementation of activities and projects by departments with/without contractors is in full compliance to integrated management system requirements and to legal laws/regulations in each aspect of energy saving, environment, health and safety
- Ensure to perform Your Voice representative responsibility for Myanmar GSC
- Ensure to provide mandatory compliance trainings like ABC, COI, AIT as per Global CSR functions
Budget Control:
- Plan, control, and manage departmental budget to be in line with the plan agreed during the ASP period to avoid over and/or under spending
Energy Saving and EHS:
- Focus on energy saving opportunity and maintain zero LTI & RI in the department by cascading all relevant communications, programs and initiatives from factory Engineering and Global EHS.
- Contribute to minimize waste in daily job to a safe environment. Participate in tasks /projects/programs and audits associated with ISO, FM Global, and other programs, including CP, 5S3R initiatives carried out by local and global authorities
People Management:
- Motivate and guide EEHS development of factory management and factory-wide employees to secure that the Global EHS requirements are reaching factory employees
- Identify EEHS and compliance mandatory training needs, plan and execute them timely
Requirements:
- Degree in Environment, Health and Safety or equivalent
- 5 years with a minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment
