CORPORATE SECURITY SUPERVISOR

The Corporate Security Supervisor position is essential to ensure continuous and effective oversight of security operations at our GSC factory and Market Office. 

The Corporate Security Supervisor ensures the effective implementation of JTI security protocols across the factory premises. This role includes supervising organic and third-party security teams, overseeing security systems and compliance with company policies, and participating in administrative functions such as processing Purchase Requests (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and Goods Receipts (GR) related to security services and equipment.

The Security Supervisor is crucial in incident response, guard force management, and operational coordination within the factory security unit.

The addition of a contract Corporate Security Supervisor is essential to enhance our security operations, provide reliable oversight, and ensure the safety and security of our facilities.

 

As the Corporate Security Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervision and Daily Operations:
    • Supervise the deployment and performance of both organic and third-party guards.
    • Conduct daily inspections, guard mounting, post checks, and shift turnovers.
    • Ensure implementation of JTI security protocols, access control, and visitor/contractor policies.
  • Incident Management:
    • Respond promptly to all security incidents, alarms, or emergency events.
    • Lead or assist in incident investigations, evidence preservation, and initial reporting.
    • Coordinate with Country Corporate Security Manager and relevant departments on immediate response actions
  • Policy Compliance and System Monitoring:
    • Oversee the proper operation of CCTV, electronic access control, alarm systems, and communication devices.
    • Support audits and ensure full compliance with JTI’s Global Security Standards and internal controls.
    • Maintain updated documentation, post orders, and incident logs
  • Administrative Support and Procurement
    • Process and monitor Purchase Requests (PR) for security-related needs (e.g., security services, notification services, security dashboard services).
    • Coordinate with Procurement and Finance teams to create and track Purchase Orders (PO).
    • Ensure timely submission and confirmation of Goods Receipts (GR) upon delivery of approved items or services.
    • Maintain accurate records and coordinate with the Country Corporate Security Manager for budget tracking and supplier follow-ups
  • Training and Development
    • Train security personnel on emergency response, safety protocols, and access control systems.
    • Conduct periodic drills and refresher training in collaboration with EHS and the Management Team.
    • Mentor new security staff and promote security awareness across departments
  • Coordination and Liaison
    • Serve as liaison with contractors, service providers, and local authorities for site security matters.
    • Support security briefings for VIP visits, audits, or major projects.
    • Represent the security team in interdepartmental coordination meetings as needed

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years' experience with a military, law enforcement, intelligence organisation, or private sector corporate security organisation.
  • Proven, effective, and high-level relationships with internal functions and government bodies.
  • Proficient in incident handling, team supervision, and technical security systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; organized and detail-oriented.
  • Familiarity with Odoo or SAP or similar systems for processing PR, PO, and GR is a strong advantage.
  • Physically fit and willing to work during emergencies.
  • Fluent/intermediate level of English & local language.
  • Open to a 1 year fixed-term contract.
