Project Engineer (Location: Shebin El Kom)

Position:

As a Project Engineer, you will:

• Oversee, manage, and direct construction projects from start to end, ensuring alignment with scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Determine and define the scope of work and project deliverables while managing project design, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), tendering, contractor selection, and claims.
• Lead and ensure the timely and cost-effective execution of multiple projects, adhering to budget, quality, and safety standards.
• Review contractor technical submittals, workshop drawings, and ensure approval of necessary permits and regulatory prerequisites.
• Coordinate and review site layouts and drawings across Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, construction safety protocols, and JTI guidelines.
• Identify and mitigate risks by creating/reviewing detailed method statements and risk assessments for each project according to JTI standards.
• Monitor and report onsite activities and contractor performance daily, ensuring progress aligns with plans.
• Contribute to factory KPIs and support improvements in EHS, Energy, and Quality management systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Project Management; PMP certification is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in construction, civil works, and finishing projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to plan, schedule, and inspect effectively.
• Proven data analysis and reporting abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
