The position Field Activation Executive has been created to develop assigned traditional and non-traditional trade channels where adult smokers converge to drive brand affinity and enduce trial by implementing reach expansion, consumer engagement, visibility and trade programs. The success of this role is hinged highly on his/her ability to negotiate for opportunities to conduct activation in legal-aged meeting points in assigned territory and/or channel/s. Due to the nature of the channel/s that may be assigned, the incumbent is required to work in the evenings and must be willing to work on weekends and across key holiday dates of necessary.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Expanding footprint of JTI brands in assigned territory by driving reach and negotiating for spaces for visibility and promotions in all possible cigarette-selling channels.

2. Identifying opportunities for 1-2-1 activities and maximizing smoker contacts through efficient and effective planning of 1-2-1 Brand Ambassador team route in GT, KA, Horeca and other non-traditional channels where cigarette-selling is permitted.

3. Driving visibility through planning & oversseing the timely production and deployment of point-of-sale materials in trade non-traditional trade outlets such as Horeca, Horeca cluster kiosks, and smoking lounges.

4. Executing 1-2-1 programs in HORECA, GT, KA, & other convergence points where cigrette selling is permitted on-time and in-full and providing timely feedback of results.

5. Collaborating with Assistant Field Activation Manager for the implementation of special events/activation in HORECA, GT, KA, & other convergence points where cigrette-selling is permitted.

6. Developing trade relationship and leveraging on this to maximize opportunities for visibility and promotions.

7. Trend-spotting and monitoring of competitor activities in assigned territory in order to provide input for more effective 1-2-1 activation.

8. Oversee the implementation of 1-2-1 activities in all assigned channel/s (horeca, key accounts, general trade, offices, etc.) to ensure execution is up to standard and according to plan and prepare reports of 1-2-1 activities assigned to note key learnings and continuously improve 1-2-1 & DTC operations.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

1. University degree

2. Advanced MS Office skills

3. 3-5 years experience in marketing and sales management functions; familiarity with HoReCa landscape is a must; existing relationship with SGMA HoReCa partners is a plus.

4. Written and oral English
