Position Description:

  • Work in close collaboration with the respective sales force(both SR and TMR) in order to ensure alignment and integration of activities
  • Motivate entire Field Marketing team to develop and implement programs to achieve brand objectives. Make sure they are the "experts" of their predefined territories.
  • Define annual investment allocation and provide input to Brand Equity Group and Sales Team on best spending opportunities.
  • Develop and manage FM team. Ensure they develop the qualities necessary to fit into JTI culture: collaborative, enterprising and open.
  • Seek innovative ways to improve JTI business in all elements of portfolio, brand, trade and distribution including identification of ways to build new sales and marketing capabilities and become more proactive and anticipatory as a company.

 

Job Requirements:

  • High standard of university degree (required)
  • MBA or equivalent educational background (desirable)
  • 6-8 years relevant experience in FMCG marketing and sales functions.  Both back office and regional experience required
  • Cross-functional experience.
  • Good knowledge of marketing strategy and strategic trade planning (merchandising, programs, marketing collateral).
  • Good understanding of operational constraints and strong executional reflex.
  •  Appreciation of legislation / taxation, external relations, marketing standards in tobacco industry.
  • Proven people management skills, team player
  • Fluent English (required), local language (required)
