WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE

 

 

The purpose of this position is to provide support in the implementation of the training arrangement and documentation in JTI. The position likewise requires strong coordination with other departments, vendors, and JTI colleagues in order to roll out the training programs. Aside from the training function, the incumbent is expected to ensure the compliance of employees to the code of discipline by promoting awareness of the rules and regulations through any available channel of communication.

 

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures the timely implementation of planned training based on the annual plan and ensures that all logistical requirements of local training are prepared ahead of time including but not limited to the training registration/enrollment, arrangement of venue, meals, materials, transportation, and accommodation. In cases that a contract from the vendor is necessary, it should be reviewed by Legal.
  • Coordinates processing of visa applications, cash advances, flight, hotel, and transfer bookings of employees being sent out to other JTI entities for training. 
  • Organizes the New Employee Orientation Program by sending out calendar invites to trainers. At the same time, conducts the orientation about the Company.
  • Prepares PR for all training and labor relations-related transactions and executes GR before the cut-off set by Market Finance to generate the actual training costs per month.
  • Regularly updates Learning Management System through the creation of MyJTI requests in coordination with GBS Manila.
  • Ensures that all training forms and documentation such as but not limited to training attendance sheets, training evaluation and effectiveness, instructor's feedback are properly implemented and well maintained.
  • Ensures that employees' training records are well maintained and updated such as the training attendance, training hours, and training certificates. Prepares training reports such as but not limited to monthly training hours, training cost, training completion, and evaluation reports. 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science or Psychology or relevant courses
  • At least 3 years of work experience gained in a manufacturing set-up.
  • Background or experience in training
  • Good in both written and oral communication.
  • Proficient in MS office application.
  • Patience in terms of documentation - Organized training and documents (Documentation)
  • Interpersonal skills (Communicate at all different levels)

  • High presence of mind

  • Assertive and Pleasing personality
