SUB- ASSEMBLY MECHANIC

WHAT WILL YOU DO: 

• Sub Assembly Rebuilding- Ensure availability and readiness of subassemblies to meet preventive & corrective maintenance requirements.
• Subassembly Workshop Organization - Ensure workshop equipment are functioning properly, in good working condition and is within calibration date; monitor and maintain all safety equipment and tools.
• Ensure full adherence to 5S practices at all times in subassembly workshop. Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the workshop.
• Equipment Maintenance – Diagnosing and rectifying machine faults and inefficiencies; identifying and maintaining key spare parts component.
• Perform any other tasks commissioned by the line manager. Compliance with EHS procedures, labour law, corporate guidance, internal regulations and work performance instructions.
• Understand health and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures in order to keep their workplace healthy and safe.
• Know Legal and JTI health and safety requirements associated with the work hazards and comply with all applicable health and safety rules and procedures.

YOU ARE:

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or any related degree. Relevant vocational course is also acceptable.
• Experienced in fault diagnosis and repair of machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Experienced in food, drink, or tobacco manufacturing.
• xperience with equipment maintenance and maintenance management information systems
• Able to communicate in English.
• Knowledgeable in MS Applications.
• Amenable to work in shifting schedule.
