WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for diagnosing and repairing machine and PLC faults and optimising the operation of machinery and product quality.
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults and providing solutions to prevent re-occurrence of faults.
• Prioritising own work to maximise machine outputs and achieve defined machine performance targets.
• Repairing/replacing components as required.  Keeping abreast of machine developments by understanding manufacturers' machine manuals.
• Liaising with team leaders & communicating with all levels of the workforce. Reading and understanding machine drawings and identifying required parts. 
• Improvising and modifying as and when required

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

• Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering. BTec Qualification in Electrical Engineering.  Desirable: HNC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Fault diagnosis and repair of production machinery experience. Experience of diagnosing and repairing PLC systems.
• Desirable: Experience in high speed manufacturing environment.
• Good English communication skills.
