Maintenance Manager

Join our RMC Factory team and play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance processes, and driving continuous improvement while supporting factory performance and business objectives.
Factory location: RMC Factory, 6th of October City, Giza, Egypt.
Position:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will:
- Lead the maintenance strategy, planning, and execution processes to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective equipment performance
- Own maintenance planning and scheduling, work order management, shutdown planning, and contractor coordination
- Manage spare parts planning, inventory optimization, and technical materials control to support uninterrupted operations
- Own and control the maintenance department budget, ensuring spending remains aligned with the Annual Strategic Plan (ASP)
- Act as the site owner for Breakdown Elimination (BDE) and Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (MP&S) DMS, driving loss elimination and continuous improvement
- Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team while strengthening technical capabilities and performance
- Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, legal, and internal company standards across all maintenance activities
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, procurement, finance, EHS, and external partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Fluency in English
- Proven experience leading maintenance teams, maintenance planning, spare parts planning, contractor management, and budget ownership
- Strong knowledge of maintenance strategy, reliability improvement, root cause analysis, and loss elimination methodologies
- Experience with SAP, MMIS, or CMMS systems
- Familiarity with IWS, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or similar continuous improvement frameworks is preferred
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and coaching skills
