This is a great opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and results-oriented IT professional who wants to take a new challenge and contribute to the digital transformation of JTI.

In this role, you will be working with the latest mobile/cloud/DevOps technologies and coordinate remote development teams to deliver state of the art mobile applications!

You will continuously learn and contribute to the improvement of our technology and processes.


Your responsibilities will be:


  • Lead the development for new mobile global applications
    • Actively contribute to and approve architecture and technologies
    • Work with the project manager and other teams to create a realistic project and development plan
    • Act as Scrum Master or Technical Lead in some projects


  • Manage production support activities for live applications
    • Analyze and coordinate the resolution of the Service Now incidents and change tasks assigned to the assignment group under your responsibility
    • Work closely with BTS, GTC and GSD to ensure incidents resolution and small application enhancements.


  • Research and continuously improve technology, processes and tools


  • Ensure that documentation, standards and procedures are being used and updated


You will be successful in this role if you:


  • Are enthusiastic, self-organized, self-learner and proactive
  • Are fluent in English (written and spoken) and you have good communication skills
  • Are used to work in a multinational environment
  • Have deep experience in agile development and/or project management
  • Have good knowledge of application testing, test procedures and test scenarios (new support packages, releases, functionalities and customizing).
  • Have experience (at least 3 years) in application development (C#, SQL Server, JavaScript, Xamarin Forms, React Native)
  • Have experience in coordinating (virtual/outsourced) software development teams and/or services (at least 2 years)
  • Are familiar with Azure PaaS and Azure DevOps (or similar)
  • Have experience or knowledge of mobile apps development frameworks (Xamarin, React Native), Azure DevOps/VSTS and Azure PaaS
