Process Lead – Montréal Plant

 


Purpose of the Role


Reporting to the Cell Lead and working closely with the Maintenance Lead for Cell No. 1 in the Manufacturing and Packaging department, the Process Lead will be responsible for applying IWS (Integrated Work System) processes, as well as developing and monitoring action plans to achieve short-, medium- and long-term objectives.


Responsibilities

 

  • Actively participate in operational meetings and contribute to aligning the cell’s priorities
  • Define, verify, improve and maintain technical and operational process standards
  • Implement and optimize applicable processes and operational standards
  • Train team members on established standards and ensure they are properly understood
  • Lead technical improvements aimed at reducing losses and supporting operational performance
  • Contribute to the execution of preventive maintenance and the breakdown elimination process
  • Lead and coordinate engineering activities related to the cell’s processes
  • Actively participate in health and safety initiatives and take ownership when required
  • Monitor quality-related results and contribute to implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Participate in the loss elimination committee and contribute to identifying improvement opportunities

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Minimum of two years of experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Technical diploma or university degree in a related field
  • Good knowledge of statistical rules and data analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel

 

Skills, Competencies and Languages

 

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and leadership skills
  • Possess excellent French and English skills, both oral and written
  • Be comfortable working on the production floor with operators, mechanics and electricians
  • Demonstrate strong punctuality and excellent organizational skills
