Team Lead

The Team Lead ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations by managing cell performance, materials flow, and SAP transactions during their shift. They ensure accurate transfers, timely replenishment, and finished goods removal, while overseeing waste control, shift administration, and KPI analysis. Through continuous improvement, manpower coordination, and team capability building, the role drives operational excellence across safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and cost.

 

As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

Shift Administration

  • Ensure accurate material transactions between warehouse and productions
  • Manage continuous replenishment and removal of finished goods by using SAP
  • Oversee WIP inventory control and monthly stock counts with zero discrepancies and support production planning to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency

Safety

  • Maintain safe and healthy workplace by understanding potential hazards, applying required control measures, and complying with all legal and company health and safety requirements
  • Train about safety instructions and consistently demonstrate safe behaviors
  • Report incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and unsafe behaviors to supervisors or EHS team, and take corrective actions within authority to eliminate risks

Production Efficiency

  • Manage shift operations and overall machine efficiency, acting as the leader for respective cell
  • Collaborate with the Cell Lead to manage planned and unplanned absences
  • Drive Shift DDS to set priorities and achieve targets, and ensure full implementation of IWS DMS and tools
  • Prepare escalation reports for critical incidents and coordinates immediate corrective actions with Cell Leads

Quality

  • Maintain production quality and efficiency through daily waste control, defect handling, and KPI reviews
  • Lead in organizing beetle reduction and IICI cleaning activities
  • Coordinate closely with QA/QC to resolve quality issues and ensure proper track-and-trace procedures are followed
  • Clear communication of consumer complaints and quality updates to the team to support continuous improvement and compliance standards

Budget Control

  • Follow the directions from management team to plan, control and manager departmental budget to be in line with agreed plan during ASP period to avoid over and/or under spendings

Energy Saving and EHS

  • Cascade all relevant communications, programs, and initiatives that focus on energy saving opportunities and maintaining zero LTI & RI
  • Contribute to minimize waste in daily job environment
  • Participate in tasks/project/programs and audits associated with ISO, FM Global and other programs such as: CP, 5S3R initiatives carried out by local and global authorities

Others

  • Manage various tasks and projects (global and local) upon manager's and/or cross-functional department's request

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably Engineering)
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain/Production Administration
  • Must have exposure to IWS framework 
  • Computer Skills (MS Office, Power BI, etc.)
  • Experience using SAP systems
  • Proficiency in Burmese and Intermediate English
  • Functional Skills:
    • Production management
    • Warehouse operation
    • Quality
    • IICI (beetle infestation)
    • EHS
    • 5S3R
    • Inventory control, document control, stock count
