Sales National Trainer Manager
Position purpose:
Responsible to maximize and evolve the strategy to train and develop the Field Force continuously enhancing knowledge, skills and behaviours through a well known understanding of Market environment, business categories evolution and Trade & Consumer trends.
Bring capabilities up to speed with future requirements to maximize Field Force effectiveness and support P&C in establishing/managing the Field Force career path to promote “growth from within” and Company’s talent pipeline.
Identify skills gaps, primarly functionals one, and implement/recommend the appropriate trainings to develop the Field Force to meet the strategic objectives of the Company working closely with M&S team to develop the Sales Academy.
Acquire a personal understanding on career aspirations and talent recognition exploiting individual observation, coaching, field visit, shadow visit and interviews.
Responsible for local adapatation of M&S Corporate guidelines as well as benchmarking with JTI’s market best practice.
What will you do – responsibilities:
• Develop, lead and drive the definition and delivery of training plans building solid relationships with Sales Team to gain strong understanding of needs. Identify and promote follow-up based on specific KPI’s;
• Strengthen and built the capabilities of Field Force through on field sales coaching of best practices, in-store execution and merchandising and mentoring program;
• Develop and lead the Field Force career path to further develop all Trade Marketers in their current role / other Sales roles and future talents to take over management functions;
• Support performance evaluation process with the final objective to further align the evaluation method and standardize the criteria supporting Managers through individual coaching;
• Develop, lead and drive the annual “C-Gen” development process providing the right support and coaching to the Sales Managers;
• Manage the recruitment process of new Trade Marketers / Sales roles ensuring high qualitative standard. Identify external providers according to the requirements;
• Point of contact / facilitator for new TMs induction / onboarding programs. Built and lead the new comers development plan and qualitative and quantative follow-up through a strong presence on the Field;
• Responsible for Sales Academy in development and implementation, with the objective to cover all needed capabilities for today and the future of Sales Force considering the rapidly changing environment;
• Support Sales Director in defining appropriate incentive plans according to business and strategies evolution;
• Support Sales Director in defining exit strategy plan of Trade Marketers (timing, costs, numbers);
• Take proactive part to the Cross Functional Projects, when necessary, with the aim to further develop knowledge, skills, behaviours and tools for the Field Force;
Who are we looking for – requirements
• 5 years experience in Sales in an international FMCG company or Electronics
• Strong commercial knowledge, people management, communication and leadership skills
• University Degree (Economics). Advance English and Italian.

Annual Base Salary: Eur 49000 – 67000 gross/year
