SALES MANAGER SARDINIA AND ROME PROVINCE 

 

Position purpose:

 

Contributes of Sales results achievement in its respective Area in terms of volume, distribution and market share and other commercial KPIs in all JTI categories in which JTI is/will be present.
Provides direction, leadership and coaching to the Trade Marketers sharing bottom up and top down all necessary information to ensure a proper alignment between common strategic goals and Field Force specific geographical needs.


 

What will you do – responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the appropriate implementation of Area Sales plan and the achievement of assigned targets and objectives (volumes, distribution, market share, share of voice, budget, costs, ROO, and other commercial KPIs) identifying business opportunities.
  • Propose specific ASP (Annual Strategic Plan) input for the assigned Area by determining action plans, modalities and priorities, targets and budget allocation;
  • Work with Trade Marketers in order to facilitate strategy execution, goals achievements and keep a competitive position in the tobacco market;
    Data analysis, forecasting and data interpretation for the Area in order to drive Trade Marketers efforts identifying priorities, budget allocation and corrective actions;
  • Manage the efficient and optimum allocation and planning of trade engagement tools and related budget assigned aimed to support trade partnership and JTI product availability and visibility;
  • Support the Trade Marketers to negotiate investments and programs (tool) respect to «Where We Want» (according to the assigned budget);
    Actively calls and assists, if necessary, Trade Marketers in key PoS visits;
  • Ensure an adequate administrative management of activities (budget, administrative processes related to investments) and a bottom-up reporting of information collected on the field;
  • Contribute to increase Trade Marketers skills through training on the job during periodic coaching and constant sharing of best practices. In line with the guidelines defined by the role and the limits imposed by the Labor Law Doctrine and Agents Contract;
  • Contribute to the development of Talents ensuring the proper pipeline for Sales & Marketing Functions and promoting cross functional moves into the Company.
     

Who are we looking for – requirements

 

• University degree
• Experience (at least 4/5 years) in a Sales and Marketing functions in FMCG sector 
• Fluent in English and Italian
