Own Retail Associate
Position Purpose:
The Own Retail Associate ensures high-quality execution of Ploom Own Retail activities across all retail formats, delivering a consistent, compliant and engaging consumer experience. Working across office and field, the role supports agency staff, applies operational guidelines and ensures effective use of tools and processes. Acting as an operational reference point, the role facilitates coordination across stakeholders and contributes to continuous improvement through field insights.
Responsibilities:
As the Own Retail Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Retail Execution, Consumer Experience & In-Store Activations: Execute and support daily activities across all Own Retail formats, ensuring alignment with HQ guidelines, brand standards and legal requirements. Support store set-up and openings and assist in store location evaluations through on-site checks. Coordinate and support the execution of in-store activations, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and flawless implementation.
- Field Coordination & Agency Support: Act as an operational reference point in-store, guiding agency staff and ensuring consistent application of operational guidelines. Coordinate daily operations (coverage, materials, service standards) and support onboarding sessions, briefings, and coaching activities.
- Performance Monitoring, Tools & Compliance: Collect and monitor field data and support reporting activities. Ensure correct usage of retail tools, support staff and escalate issues or improvements. Manage mystery shopping activities and audits.
- Operations & Continuous Improvement: Track materials, consumables, and operational expenses, ensuring proper documentation and administrative follow-up. Capture insights from consumers, store staff, and agencies to identify improvement opportunities and support enhancements. Act as an on-field operational connector, enabling alignment between field and head office.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business, Economics or related fields
- 3–4 years of experience in retail or field operations
- Experience across multiple retail formats and in-store activations
- Strong organizational and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Hands-on, detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset
- Data-driven approach and familiarity with retail tools (e.g., CRM, reporting platforms)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Team-oriented, proactive and willing to work on field/travel as required
- Fluency in English and Italian
