Organizational Development Manager

 

 

What this position is about - Purpose

 

To lead and advance the local People Experience and Organizational Development agenda by designing and implementing strategies, programs and governance that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, employee experience and workforce readiness. The role exists to translate business priorities into people solutions, provide data-driven insight for decision-making, and ensure talent, culture, learning and change initiatives are aligned with JTI standards, local market needs and long-term business objectives.

 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Organizational Development & Workforce Strategy: Lead the review and evolution of organizational structures, role architecture and external workforce models to ensure the business is equipped with the right capabilities, operating model and headcount to deliver strategic and annual objectives. Drive role design and job description governance in line with JTI standards and local labor requirements, while partnering with Rewards to benchmark critical roles across local, regional and global markets.

 

  • Employee Experience, Culture & Employer Brand: Shape an integrated employee experience across the full lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, embedding Our Way behaviors, engagement practices and culture-building initiatives that strengthen belonging, performance and retention. Lead the local deployment of assessment and listening tools, sustain recognition and external accreditation efforts, and partner with Corporate Affairs & Communications and external stakeholders to enhance employer brand positioning and talent attraction.

 

  • Talent, Leadership & Succession Development:  Managethe local succession planning and talent review agenda for identified talent pools, ensuring robust pipelines for critical roles and targeted development actions for future leaders. Translate global talent and leadership frameworks into local action, leverage enterprise systems and programs to track progress, and reinforce consistent leadership expectations and behaviors across the organization.

 

  • Learning, Capability Building & Strategic Partnerships: Develop and govern the local learning and capability agenda in line with business priorities, organizational needs and future skill requirements. Curate impactful learning journeys, facilitate priority interventions and partner with business leaders, procurement and external providers to source high-quality solutions that accelerate leadership effectiveness, functional capability and organizational growth.

 

  • People Analytics, KPI Governance & Strategic Change Management: Build and manage a robust people analytics and KPI framework that provides actionable insights on employee experience, talent outcomes, learning effectiveness and key people processes. Use data and systems to inform decision-making, monitor progress against strategic priorities, and support cross-functional transformation initiatives, including major organizational change management programs.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • University Degree 

 

  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in Organizational Development, Talent Management and Learning & Capability Building, with proven exposure to organization design, workforce planning, succession planning, employee experience/culture initiatives, change management and project delivery. Experience in partnering with business leaders, using people analytics to support decisions, and operating in a complex multinational environment is required.

 

  • Fluency in English ( both written and spoken);  Italian is a plus
