Commercial Planning Associate
Position purpose:
The Commercial Planning Associate supports the execution of cycle activities in line with Trade and Distribution strategies. The role helps maintain the annual activity calendar, keeps cycle planning tools up to date and ensures smooth coordination between Sales and Marketing. It contributes to effective execution by supporting KPI definition and reporting, monitoring field execution, providing operational assistance to the office team and the Field Force, and enabling the adoption of digital tools (e.g. CRM and planning solutions) through process support, communication and training.
What will you do – responsibilities:
• Update and maintain the annual activity calendar aligned with Brand, Trade and Distribution strategies across PoS clusters/segments.
• Support cycle plan preparation and coordinate cycle meetings/materials, ensuring clear priorities, actions and follow-up.
• Keep cycle planning tools up to date, monitor results, prepare reports and highlight gaps and potential corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Conduct field visits to collect insights and Field Force feedback, share best practices and support KPI validation/performance follow-up.
• Provide operational support to the Field Force, ensuring they are fully equipped with the information, tools and materials needed for their daily activities, integrating their feedback into trade plans.
• Partner with the Trade Digital Solution Manager to deploy digital/CRM solutions (flows, communication and training) and ensure knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects to strengthen commercial capabilities.
• Provide operational support to line managers as needed.
Who are we looking for – requirements
• University degree, preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing or related fields.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with CRM/planning tools (Siebel, Power BI) is a plus.
• Basic analytical skills and interest in digital solutions.
• 2-3 years of experience in Sales, Trade Marketing, Marketing, or related roles (internships included).
• Experience in FMCG or in-field roles is considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Fluent English and Italian.
