Performance Modelling Manager

 

Purpose of the role:

Ensures a single source of truth for regional data and translates complex commercial KPIs into actionable insights. Supports strategic planning through advanced performance modelling, pricing and portfolio analysis, and regulatory impact assessments. Strengthens collaboration between markets and HQ to drive effective regional execution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure integrity (accuracy, completeness, and consistency) of data across the region, and that we have one set of official data for each market and at a consolidated level. Recommend and implement action plans to address any identified data - related issue in the Region;
  • Drive analysis and interpretation of key commercial KPIs at Regional level and provide recommendations for regional strategic priorities: Consolidation and analysis by categories, with focus on conventional business, Market size (Legal, illicit, outflow), SOM & SOV, formats, price segments, macroeconomics, taxation, pricing, volume, trade inventory & key drivers roadmaps o Industry profit pool evolution at regional level and break down by categories, manufacturers and key stakeholders (government, trade & manufacturers);
  • Contribute to the development of key regional strategic documents: o Planning cycles, Regional ASP briefing, Regional M&S priorities, functional reviews o Coordinate within M&S and other regional functions alignment, preparation and deployment of regional strategic documents;
  • Play key role in providing regional management with information and recommendations for strategic decision-making: o Build a set of performance tracking dashboards based on Power BI for the region (in collaboration with HQ) o Manage GBS-based processes and activities at regional level: definition of new requirements, review, monitor and sign-off periodic reports o Manage and ensure OneData quality with HQ teams and markets o Drive performance analysis and KPIs tracking by markets, focusing on SOM performance by companies, price segments, formats, brands o Deliver consolidated view on competitive pricing and portfolio evolution across markets, highlighting main threats and opportunities o Lead assessment of regional portfolio effectiveness & efficiency KPIs o Monitoring the distribution and POS coverage across different channels, track distribution models (Traditional, D2C, D2R) contribution to JTI sales versus industry;
  • Drive commercial risks assessment and impact monitoring of various regulatory initiatives at regional level (e.g. taxation changes) and manage performance analysis of new launches at regional level;
  • Facilitation of interaction between HQ functions and markets in the region.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Required (Master’s Degree Preferred);
  • Understanding of data integrity, processing, modeling, identifying and driving new initiatives;
  • Must have 2-5 years’ experience working in Power BI and data visualization tools;
  • Commercial experience or working in CPG environment consistently tracking market modelling and forecasting for planning, developing, and delivering accurate data results;
  • Ability to learn and respond quickly working in fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to multitask and excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Project Coordination skills - including but not limited to communication and cooperation and leadership skills to execute JTI policies and procedures.
