FP&A Senior Specialist

 

Position Purpose

To drive the market financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making and sustainable business growth. The role is responsible for leading the end-to-end planning cycles, including P&L and Free Cash Flow forecasts, ensuring compliance with corporate requirements, enhancing planning methodologies, and providing value-added business partnering across commercial, supply chain, and support functions.

 

Main Areas of Responsibility

  • Lead the development, consolidation, and delivery of P&L and Free Cash Flow forecasts across Annual Scenarios, Outlook Plans, Latest Estimates, and the Annual Strategic Plan. Ensure that short- and long-term forecasts are accurate, timely, and supported by reliable planning assumptions.
  • Coordinate monthly financial statements, management reports, month-end closing, YTD analyses, and Regional and Global planning submissions. Validate Excel and SAP data while partnering with Accounting to improve reporting processes, working papers, and overall data quality.
  • Analyze differences between planned, actual, and projected results for P&L and Free Cash Flow, identifying key drivers and providing clear explanations. Partner with Marketing, Sales, and G&A teams to evaluate performance and translate financial information into actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct profitability and financial feasibility analyses for business operations, product launches, product changes, capital investments, and other strategic initiatives. Provide senior management with clear assessments of expected profitability, financial viability, and potential business impact.
  • Build a comprehensive understanding of Demand Planning and Supply Chain activities, including forecasting, production planning, inventory, logistics, and master data. Collaborate with Global Supply Chain teams and external logistics partners to support product availability, inventory optimization, operational continuity, and supply chain objectives.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • Higher education in Finance, Accounting, or Administration; an MBA or equivalent educational background is desirable.
  • Three years of experience in planning and financial analysis within multinational companies, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Previous experience in data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent Spanish and English.
  • Knowledge of FP&A, including forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, financial modeling, variance analysis, profitability assessment, and decision support.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for financial analysis, business-case development, and executive reporting.
  • SAP knowledge and experience in financial planning and reporting environments.
  • Strong business-partnering, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Understanding of commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance processes, combined with a continuous-improvement mindset focused on planning, reporting, and data quality.
