Purpose:

The TME programme, well established at JTI since 2005, spans 35 markets and over 4,000 users, representing more than 90% of JTI’s OCC. It is a critical enabler of Sales and Trade Marketing business processes worldwide, covering planning, execution, and performance evaluation. Functionally, the programme supports business processes such as customer relationship management (retailers), field force organization, commercial strategy planning, optimization of field visits at the point of sale, execution of trade marketing activities, and sales cycle analysis.
TME Connect, as the primary Business Platform Modernization initiative, reinforces JTI’s competitive edge at the point of sale by leveraging cloud-based technologies to implement and roll out a simplified and standardized version of JTI Trade Marketing processes, mainly Field Force Execution and Business Intelligence Evaluation.
