Strategic Suppliers Manager
What this position is about – Purpose:
Strategic Suppliers and Software Asset Management will focus on strategic vendors to maximize value creation and minimize enterprise risk.
What will you do – Responsibilities:
- Participation in the completion of the overall framework around strategic suppliers for Digital and Information Technology
- Participation in the selection process of the strategic supplier classification scope (segmentation), use principles, guidelines and exception procedures
- Orchestrating supplier relationships to ensure that what is promised is delivered, on time, on budget; and track, monitor and mitigate vendor risk
- To be responsible of the Digital and Information Technology Strategic Suppliers model, actively participating in the contract management and supporting Global Procurement in the negotiations
- Lead negotiations for large-scale agreements with strategic partners. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to secure optimal terms and successful outcomes
- Minimizing risks and maximizing the value of Strategic Suppliers through proper governance framework in order to sustain JTG values
Who are we looking for – Requirements:
Education: Business administration, computer science or IT related degree (Bachelor or Masters level)
Work experience: working experience in the follolwing areas::
- min. 7 to 10 years of experience managing / outsourcing IT suppliers and/or IT procurement negotiating large deals
- 5 years of experience on Vendor Management in IT function or Procurement IT
- Very Good Understanding principles of Procurement processes, Supplier Relationship Management and Vendor Management
- The leadership of large-scale contract negotiations, involving setup, analysis of positions, development of Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement (BATNA)
- Commercial experience in drafting robust contracts covering pricing, SLA, penalty regime, clearly defined deliverables, transition and exit statements
- Excellent Knowledge of IT software/SAAS/PAAS category and market key players.Strong experience with major software publisher's licensing schemes (SAP, Oracle, MS, etc.) with a good knowledge of software maintenance agreements.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and project management skills
Language: Full English proficiency (spoken and written)
