PEOPLE & CULTURE MANAGER
Position purpose:
The People & Culture (P&C) Manager will work closely with the Iberia P&C Director, Iberia ExCom, Line Managers and employees to implement talent management strategies that achieve organizational objectives. She/he will be responsible for the implementation of People & Culture initiatives related to Talent Acquisition, Performance & Talent Management and Succession planning for the assigned employee group. This position plays a key role in the Employee Lifecycle by driving a consistent and employee centric experience for all Iberia employees.
Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering: P&C Business Partner responsible for the Portugal market & Iberia supporting functions. Proactively and independently support the assigned stakeholders in identifying key people, business and organizational challenges and opportunities, and partner with all involved stakeholders to ensure effective solutions are developed and implemented from start to finish. You will also prioritize and execute operational P&C delivery across Recruitment and Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Talent Development, Performance Management, and Line Management coaching and support, ensuring the smooth running of business operations through effective employee lifecycle management. In addition, you will support and advise employees on P&C-related topics.
- Talent Management: Promote talent management awareness across the organization. You will drive Talent Management processes for the Iberia markets and support the Iberia Team review process, ensuring alignment with business and people priorities. You will initiate and lead the annual Talent Development and Succession Planning processes and take responsibility for managing the annual Performance Appraisal and Development Planning cycle. This includes preparing internal communications, encouraging employees to complete all performance discussion stages, and providing coaching and guidance throughout the process. You will manage any updates or changes in SuccessFactors when needed and support employees with coaching, guidance and recommendations on effective learning and development solutions aligned with their individual development goals.
- Talent Acquisition: Support Line Managers in recruitment activities across all cluster markets and coordinate recruitment processes with GBS. You will ensure recruitment plans are delivered in line with the A&SP plan and that the Talent Acquisition process remains compliant with company policies and equal opportunities standards. You will define and manage the candidate journey and prepare the communications required for all key touchpoints. In addition, you will supervise the onboarding process and accompany new hires throughout the induction journey, including follow-up meetings and surveys.
- P&C Projects: Responsible for implementing Local, Regional and Global Projects as assigned either individually or in teams. Support in developing P&C or cross-functional programs and policies as required.
Requirements:
- University degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration or other related areas. A postgraduate in Human Resources is a plus.
- 5+ years HR experience at manager level, with focus on Talent Management/HR Generalist. Work experience in a multinational environment will be a plus.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in either Spanish or Portuguese are required.
- Talent Management, Performance Management, Project Management, HR Generalist experience, P&C Service delivery knowledge. Strategic thinking, Commercial acumen and Data Analysis.
- MS Office skills. SAP HR / Success Factors knowledge.
- Strong coaching, influencing, presentation and communication skills.
