Iberia Brand Manager
Position purpose:
The Iberia Brand Manager of Combustible brands (BM) will be responsible for developing and implementing Iberia’s key brand initiatives to achieve ASP SOM, Volume, and Equity targets across SP, PT and CI. This role also carries full responsibility for implementing the Iberia plans, which includes managing all brand packaging projects, brand guidelines and toolkits, equity-driven consumer activations, monitoring brands performance, and ensuring effective budget control aligned with strategic objectives.
To succeed in this position, the candidate must demonstrate a strong analytical but also creative mindset, strategic thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential, as the role involves close coordination with multiple teams, including Market/regional teams, Strategic Insights, Portfolio Coordination, Commercial & Trade Activation (C&TA), Finance and Sales but also external agencies, HQ Brand Groups and WE Region. A high level of ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are also key to thriving in this dynamic and cross-functional environment.
What will you do – responsibilities:
- Define the Iberia Brand Equity and Activation plan to achieve the annual strategic goals (SOM, Volume, equity). A strong entrepreneurial attitude, analitical mindset and team work is needed to develop a detailed understanding of Iberia markets (SP, CI, PT), its consumers and competition, identifying growth potential and propose adapted and timely recommendations.
- Responsible for packaging projects (including LEPs): from brief creation to stakeholder coordination (PoCo, Logistics, Regional M&S) and preparation of official letters.
- Develop Brand guidelines and toolkits (digital, POSM, 121, gifts) to ensure consistent brand equity across all touchpoints.
- Develop equity-driven consumer activations (national activations).
- Monitor brand portfolio and launches, analyze performance, and provide recommendations to the Brand Lead. Manage annual brand budget and master calendar per market, ensuring alignment with financial targets .Budget control ensuring aligment with annual budget defined by market.
Who are we looking for – requirements:
- University degree (required). MBA or equivalent educational background will be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years experience in FMCG similar managerial positions. Other commercial experience is valuable.
- High level of English & Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
- Solid background in marketing.
- Experience & resilience to work in a fast-evolving environment, yet bringing a correct understanding of business challenges and ability to propose and ensure new opportunities.
- A strong entrepreneurial attitude, analitical mindset communication, organizational and planning skills.
