The objective of the position is the market optimum supply at minor cost, also ensuring correctness and integrity of data projections and reporting. Cooperation with other team members of Iberia Logistics cluster.

Activity is related to Logistics function. The position requires the follow up of any logistics daily activity, including stocks control, related to his/her areas of responsibility, acting as point of contact between markets and Global supply Chain . Close cooperation with Marketing and other functions within the Company in the implementation of projects, agile mindset is required. He/she will cooperate from a leading perspective within Logistics function in process improvement focused on maximizing value added to business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demand planning:  Calculate, check and validate  purchase orders  based on sales estimations and within the frame of the contracts with distributors.
  • Daily control of stocks. Monitor shipments on a daily basis to control that they are performed in line with  shipment plans. Propose variations to adjust stocks to market demand needs. Solving incidences related to Logistics activity.
  • Management of invoicing to customers and other transactions via SAP.
  • Especial dedication to stock control (FG-Finished goods and NTMs-Non Tobacco materials) in view of implementation of packaging change projects.  Close monitoring FG and NTMs stocks, reporting situation  and proposing corrective measures to issues.
  • To cooperate in minimizing product write-offs by measures to control inventory levels and product ageing.
  • Actively participating in market projects in close cooperation with other functions.
  • To analyze process of the department and propose changes.
  • To perform any other tasks given by the line manager

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree (Finance or Engineering are an advantage). Specific knowledge of Logistics.
  • 3-5 years as Demand Planner / Customer Services in multinational environment
  • Advanced Portuguese and English level is required. Spanish is an advantage.
  • MS Office user (a high Excel level would be required)
  • SAP knowledge (preferable in Forecast-to-Stock) is required
  • Excellent communication skills and good team worker is a must
  • “Willing-to-change” mindset, leading attitude, versatility
  • Analytical background
  • Autonomy, initiative and proactivity are required
