Role: Permanent

WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE: 

The position is responsible for  implementation of Environment, Occupational Health and Safety best practices to meet ISO, local, and company standards, minimizing risks to JTI Leaf Malawi. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO: RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting and implementing JTILM’s compliance to ISO standards.
• Facilitating monitoring and inspection of environmental and waste management programs.
• Proactively supporting all departments with hazard and risk identification and elimination.
• Facilitating and delivering EHS training programs, inductions and awareness programs to all stakeholders.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in Natural or Environmental Sciences, Engineering or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar job role.
• Organizational, project management and data analysis skills.
• Advanced skills in MS Office tools and programs.
