FP&A Manager CI

What this position is about – Purpose:

We are looking for a dynamic FP&A professional to manage the financial planning and performance for the Canary Islands market. In this role, you will own the core financial models, deliver accurate forecasts, and provide sharp insights that strengthen predictability and support both strategic and day‑to‑day decision‑making. You’ll work closely with commercial and operational teams, bringing financial clarity to business discussions and helping identify opportunities to drive growth and profitability.
Reporting directly to the Iberia FP&A Lead and indirectly to the Finance representative on the Local Leadership Team (LLT), you will operate within Iberia FP&A standards while ensuring high‑quality local data, efficient processes, and continuous improvement across planning and reporting cycles.

What will you do - Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning Cycles: Lead core FP&A activities for the Canary Islands market, ensuring accuracy and predictability of short‑ and long‑term business results. Own and maintain financial models (P&L, SOV, scenario planning, stress tests). Analyse drivers behind performance outcomes and continuously improve planning processes through efficiencies and automation.

• Performance & Profitability Analysis: Analyse business performance versus plan, forecast, and prior periods. Identify risks and opportunities early and provide insights on key drivers such as volume, price/mix, margin evolution, COGS, and OPEX/M&S.

• Reporting: Ensure timely delivery of reporting with relevant KPIs and financial insights (Actuals YTD/YTG vs OLs, LEs, A&SP). Strengthen and refine local data and reporting outputs, transforming them into clear insights that highlight opportunities, risks, and performance trends. Coordinate monthly and quarterly reporting cycles (CFO briefs, management updates). Support the Iberia cluster in improving and standardizing reporting across markets.

• Tools & Ways of Working: - Review and enhance existing models, processes, and tools. Support the development of dashboards and analytical tools for budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling. Promote best‑in‑class FP&A practices and contribute to a more efficient, data‑driven finance function.

• Business Partnering: true finance partner to local teams, bringing financial perspective into daily decisions. Challenge assumptions constructively and support profitable growth. Build strong cross‑functional relationships and support planning cycles.

• Ad‑Hoc Support: Provide timely analysis and support to management as business needs arise. Manage multiple tasks and projects with agility and strong stakeholder communication.

Whom are we looking for – Requirements:

•    + 5 years of experience in FP&A within FMCG or a similar environment.
•    Detail‑oriented, organized, and strong in communication.
•    Curious, proactive, and focused on improving processes, tools, and ways of working.
•    Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities; able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
•    Solid understanding of financial statements, modelling, forecasting, and core finance and accounting principles.
•    Fluent in Spanish with a good level of English; Portuguese is a plus.
•    Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; strong financial modelling skills.
•    SAP / GPM experience is an asset; Power BI or other BI tools are a plus.
•    University Degree; MBA, MSc, or financial qualification is a plus.
