Position: Business Adviser (Gombe)

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Adviser to join our team, focusing on the Gombe region. This role is integral in providing strategic guidance and support to businesses, helping to drive growth, improve operations, and foster sustainable success within the local market.

About the Role

As a Business Adviser, you will partner with a diverse range of businesses, offering expert advice and tailored solutions to address their unique challenges and opportunities. You will leverage your comprehensive understanding of business fundamentals, economic trends, and the regional market environment to enhance client outcomes and contribute to economic development in the Gombe area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with businesses across various sectors in the Gombe region to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Conduct detailed business assessments, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver actionable business plans and strategies tailored to each client’s context.
  • Provide guidance on financial management, marketing, operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and seminars to build business skills and awareness among local entrepreneurs.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders, including government agencies, financial institutions, and community organizations, to support business development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in business advisory, consultancy, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
  • Ability to deliver presentations, workshops, and written reports with clarity and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of the economic and regulatory environment in Gombe or similar contexts is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in relevant business software and tools to support analysis and reporting.
