Trade Marketing Associate 

This role supports the execution of the Trade Marketing & Distribution plan in Kinshasa, focusing on strengthening market leadership through impactful trade programs, effective micro-distribution, and strong customer relationships to drive sales, brand visibility, and execution excellence across all channels.

Position

As the Trade Marketing Associate in the area of Sales & Trade Execution, you will:

• Implement cycle activities and trade programs to enhance visibility, drive sales and retailer engagement.

• Ensure product availability, pricing compliance, and qualitative POSM deployment across the territory.

• Supervise micro-distribution operations, monitor performance, and maintain accurate customer databases.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers and distributor representatives to close market gaps.

• Report on field execution, competitor activities, product quality, and support for fast market response
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commercial Sciences, Marketing, Economics, or Finance.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales or Trade Marketing (tobacco is a must).

• Solid knowledge of the Kinshasa market.

• Fluency in French and Lingala; basic written English.

• Strong field execution mindset, communication skills, and resilience under pressure.

• Familiarity with Excel, digital tools, and customer data management.
