System Management Supervisor
This position is established to lead LFPT & SAP system operations, reporting, analysis, and farmer-facing financial processes across the leaf supply chain operation. The incumbent supports Agronomy, Leaf Quality, Leaf Processing, Warehouse, and Logistics by delivering insights, scenario planning, and KPI monitoring to drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency. The role manages farmer transactions - including loans, payments, incentives, and crop input planning - ensuring financial integrity and compliance. It also oversees SAP and LFPT system performance, acts as a power user, coordinates UAT, and manages BAP and MEMO planning cycles. Close collaboration with global LPS and LPI teams ensures alignment with global requirements and continuous improvement.
As the System Management Supervisor, you will:
- SAP & LFPT System Operations & Maintenance
- Ensure the smooth functioning of SAP and LFPT systems across the operation including agronomy, leaf quality, processing, logistics, warehousing & shipment.
- Monitor LFPT system performance, preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with IT/LPS/LPI for timely resolution.
- Maintain data integrity and system reliability to support business operations.
- Schedule stress and dry runs well ahead of the buying and processing season
- Coordinate month and season end reconciliations
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Request Management
- Work closely with global LPS and LPI teams to align local operations with global requirements.
- Collect feedback from users on missing or required items & submit change requests through the appropriate system change channels
- Involve all relevant departments to ensure end-to-end process validation
- Power User & UAT Coordination
- Serve as a power user coordinator for SAP and LFPT, identify training needs, develop training materials, providing training, support, and guidance to end users.
- Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new functionalities and system upgrades.
- Document feedback and ensure successful deployment of system changes.
- Field Support
- Support reporting cycles by ensuring accurate data flow and system readiness.
- Collaborate with operational teams to align system outputs with business needs.
- Support field operations by ensuring system accessibility and functionality in remote locations.
- Travel to field sites as needed to provide hands-on support and gather operational insights.
- People, EHS & IMS
- The incumbent is responsible for motivating, mentoring, and guiding the professional development of both direct and indirect reports. They must lead health and safety efforts by promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with EHS policies. The role includes enforcing PPE usage, closing audit findings, and continuously improving departmental safety standards. Additionally, the incumbent must understand and apply IMS procedures and JTI policies to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelors on Agronomy / Accounting / Finance / Business Administration / Systems Administration / Information Technology / Computer Science or other relevant professional qualifications.
- Minimum of 3 year working experience in areas as ERP, P&A, Data Analytics, Systems implementation.
- Overall good knowledge on Tobacco Supply Chain operations
- Ability to speak, read and write English and Bengali
- Solid knowledge on: ERP particularly SAP is mandatory. Advanced MS Office especially MS Excel.
