Leaf Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor

The incumbent oversees logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient transportation, accurate inventory management, and compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards while promoting JTI systems as the primary source of information. He is also responsible for managing budgets and opex costs, leading teams, analyzing and presenting data, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to support business goals.

As Leaf Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor, you will:

• Manages daily activities such as receiving, storing, and dispatching goods while ensuring accurate inventory control through audits and cycle counts. The role also enforces policies, optimizes space utilization, maintains equipment to safety standards, and upholds hygiene in line with IPM requirements.
• Plans and manages transportation and supplier development to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery while coordinating with suppliers, GIP, and Export teams for smooth operations. The role also oversees inventory transactions in LPT/SAP, maintains logistics equipment and spare parts, and implements risk‑mitigation strategies to prevent supply chain disruptions.
• Manages warehouse staff through hiring, training, performance evaluation, and fostering a safe, collaborative work environment while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. It also covers cost control, data analysis, supplier coordination, inventory reconciliation, performance reporting, and continuous improvement using logistics systems to support F2S and O2C operations across all locations.
• Develops and executes  emergency plans, resolving operational issues quickly, and conducting post‑crisis evaluations to strengthen supply chain resilience. It also requires close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to mitigate risks, ensure business continuity, and align site operations across departments.
• Ensures all staff and vendors comply with JTI guidelines by wearing proper PPE, maintaining fitness for work, and adhering to minimum safety standards. It also enforces safe practices for forklift use, fumigation, and work at height to meet KPI targets and prevent recordable or lost-time incidents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum of 5 years in logistics and warehouse operations within FMCG or agriculture industry.
• With strong Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, and Stakeholder Management.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and SAP; strong presentation skills.
• Native Bengali speaker with conversational proficiency in English.
