EHS Associate

The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Environment, Health & Safety Management System. This position is responsible for planning and analysis of EHS activities, performance tracking, data analysis, budgeting, and ensuring effective reporting and communication across the organization.

As the EHS Associate, you will do:

  • EHS Management System Support:
    • Assist in maintaining and updating EHS policies, procedures, and IMS documentation.
    • Support internal audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
    • Coordinate and track corrective and preventive actions.
    • Update and maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 140001 documentation, report any gaps and concerns.
  • EHS Planning & Analysis:
    • Analyze historical data and trends to support risk assessments and strategic planning.
    • Contribute to the development of annual EHS plans, goals, KPIs and ASP deliverables.
    • Support the preparation of EHS budgets in coordination with the EHS Manager.
    • Monitor EHS expenditures against budget and report variances.
  • Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring:
    • Collect, validate, and analyze EHS data from various sources.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
    • Maintain databases and tools for tracking incidents, inspections, and training.
    • Analyse Behaviour Observation Standard (BOS) data and performance monitoring.
  • Reporting & Communication:
    • Prepare and distribute regular EHS performance reports and dashboards.
    • Support internal and external communication of EHS initiatives, alerts, and achievements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and awareness.
  • Hazard Identification & EHS Risk Management:
    • Monitors hazards and reduce or eliminate the associated risks on continuous basis. This includes leading in investigations of all serious EHS incidents, identify and ensure implementation of mitigation measures to avoid repeat.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • A graduate with a University or Bachelor's Degree.
  • 1-5 years in the field of EHS (i.e. FMCG, Chemical/Process & Manufacturing Industries).
  • Experience of implementing IMS, Lean and data management.
  • Sound understanding on International EHS Standards, local & international Regulations.
  • Strong data analysis skills and data story telling/presentation.
  • Microsoft Office advanced knowledge.
  • Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automation.
  • Fluent in oral & written English and Bengali.
  • Strategic insight and Sound knowledge of  ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001
  • Professional Certification in EHS will be an added advantage.
