ESG COORDINATOR (GOVERNANCE)

The ESG Coordinator – Governance drives governance, monitoring, and data management functions within Sustainability (ESG). The role ensures the ESG programs are supported by robust M&E frameworks, credible data, and transparent reporting. It strengthens accountability and compliance by maintaining auditable records, validating KPIs, assessing risks, and aligning initiatives with global reporting standards.

As the ESG Coordinator (Governance), you will: 

ESG Governance, Monitoring, and Evaluation

  • Maintain auditable records of SCDD maturity scores, KPI requirements, and all ESG program evidence.
  • Develop and maintain M&E frameworks, dashboards, trackers, and data models (SharePoint, Power BI, Excel) for sustainability and social programs.
  • Conduct internal program verification, audit preparedness, and ensure compliance with SOPs and documentation standards.
  • Manage social and environmental risk registers, analyze trends, and develop an annual priority matrix for key sustainability and human rights risks.
  • Recommend priority areas and focus for response measures annually

Grievance Mechanism

  • Lead the grievance mechanism process through the Ulula platform — ensure logging, response, escalation, and closure of cases.
  • Coordinate field-level response measures with the Operational teams

Data Management

  • Collect, validate, consolidate, and analyze program data from AgroMobility, Ulula, Worldfavor, and other platforms.
  • Manage KPIs, baseline, output, outcome, and impact metrics; ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with global reporting standards (Origin Maturity, 19 KPI requirements).
  • Validate and manage beneficiary selection criteria, data integrity, and inventory records.

Assessments and Tracking

  • Coordinate and support internal/global assessments: STP self-assessments, LCA, Growers’ living income, and other baseline and impact surveys.
  • Track field-level program impact, demonstrate long-term outcomes vs baseline, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Build storylines for regulatory, internal, and global reporting based on assessment and program evidence.

Communication

  • Drive ESG communication approach, ensuring accurate, data-driven, and consistent messaging across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support reporting to management and global teams with consolidated insights, trends, and performance highlights.
  • Collaborate with the ESG (Social) Coordinator to ensure alignment of social and governance outputs in reports and communication platforms.

EHS and Safety

  • Comply with all safety policies and practices of the company
  • Wear or use appropriate PPE if required
  • Report Hazardous conditions to line manager
  • Report any Job related injury or illness to line Manager

Requirements: 

  • Relevant university degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Sustainability experience is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in English and Bangla.
  • Familiarity with ESG standards (e.g., UNGP, ALP); strong analytical and documentation skills; ability to coordinate internal assessments and verifications; experience managing data reporting platforms (STP, SCDD, LCA); attention to detail, organized, and reliable in audit environments.
