QA Operations Senior Technician (12-Month Contract)

The QA Operations Senior Technician is responsible for supporting laboratory operations and product quality activities by conducting testing, maintaining testing equipment, documenting results, and ensuring work is completed in line with quality and compliance standards. The role also helps improve testing processes, prepares reports and laboratory documentation, provides guidance to team members, supports audits and quality system requirements, and contributes to the efficient and reliable delivery of testing services that support business and product quality objectives.

As the QA Operations Senior Technician under the area of Quality Assurance, you will:

Supporting laboratory and quality assurance operations through product testing and validation activities.
Ensuring testing equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning effectively.
Evaluating, documenting, and communicating testing results through clear reports and presentations.
Contributing to the improvement of testing methods, laboratory processes, and operational efficiency.
Creating and maintaining laboratory procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.
Providing training and guidance to team members on testing procedures, equipment use, quality standards, and safety practices.
Supporting compliance with company, regulatory, and quality management requirements.
Assisting with audits, record management, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure reliable and high-quality laboratory operations.

Requirements:

Education: Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Measurement Technology, or a related technical discipline.
At least 3 years of professional experience within a global-scale business, with sound knowledge of product quality management or quality assurance activities in either the tobacco industry or a multinational electronics company.
Experience in product testing or laboratory environment is required, including hands-on execution of functional, reliability, performance, or validation testing, operation of test equipment, troubleshooting, data analysis, and preparation of test reports.
