JTI Talent Internship – Legal Track

Step into the world of corporate law with the JTI Talent Internship – Legal Track at JT International Trading Sdn. Bhd. This internship goes beyond administrative exposure — it is a launchpad for meaningful professional growth. You will become a valued member of the Legal team, gaining hands-on experience in legal research, contract review, and compliance matters that support business operations.

As a JTI Talent Intern in Legal, you will accelerate your professional growth by:

• Supporting legal research across various areas of law and gaining exposure to how legal principles are applied in a corporate FMCG environment.
• Assisting with contract review, policy development, and compliance-related tasks
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to support legal and regulatory requirements
• Gaining exposure to corporate governance and how legal supports business decision-making
• Developing practical skills in legal analysis, documentation, and communication

Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen currently pursuing a Law degree at a recognised university or college
• Available to commit to the internship for at least 4 months (16 weeks)
• Strong command of English and Bahasa Melayu, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical thinking, with attention to detail when handling legal documents and research materials
• Able to communicate professionally with stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and discretion
• Exposure to law firm experience is an advantage; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
