Business Insights Manager

 

The Business Insights Manager is responsible for developing and managing reporting systems that drive data-based decision-making during market development. The role focuses on building a strong insights framework to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable information for leadership and key stakeholders. With an agile and analytical approach, the incumbent identifies and integrates diverse data sources and provides forward-looking analysis to guide strategy, enable clarity in uncertainty, and support sustainable market growth. 

 

As the Business Insights Manager under the area of Marketing, you will:

 

  • Design and implement reporting systems that provide timely, accurate, and actionable insights to support organizational decision-making.
  • Align reporting systems with business priorities to ensure visibility and relevance for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Identify and integrate new internal and external data sources to enhance market and consumer understanding.
  • Lead data governance processes to maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting outputs.
  • Translate complex data into strategic insights, analyze trends by brand, region, and channel, and recommend actions to close performance gaps.
  • Support the Strategic Insights Manager with consumer and market research, segmentation, and brand equity analysis.
  • Collaborate on pricing strategy development, manage ad hoc projects, and, if applicable, lead and develop team members.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in FMCG marketing or sales functions.
  • Strong foundation in consumer, brand, and trade analysis, with solid commercial acumen.
  • Skilled in developing, tracking, and evaluating brand and sales programs.
  • Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative consumer and trade marketing research.
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and analytical skills, including multi-dimensional reporting (sales and distribution).
  • Experience with QGIS, volume and share-of-market (SOM) forecasting, and consumer or trade marketing research would be an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, DAX, and SQL, combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
