Supply Chain & Demand Planning Manager

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven professional to join our team as Supply Chain & Demand Planning Manager. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional supply chain planning activities, ensuring inventory levels align with forecasted sales and securing uninterrupted supply of finished goods across designated SA Plus Cluster markets. The position works closely with Global Supply Planning, Production Planning, Commercial, Marketing and Logistics teams to optimize forecasting accuracy, inventory management and overall supply chain efficiency.

Position:

• Supply & Inventory Planning: Ensure effective supply planning aligned with market demand requirements while monitoring stock levels, sales performance, and production availability to prevent overstock and stock shortages. Manage phase-in and phase-out processes for finished goods and proactively address supply risks to minimize NTM and FG write-off costs.
  
  
• Production & S&OP Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for Global Supply Chain and customers regarding production planning, shipment plans, inventory coverage, and NTM ordering. Review monthly S&OP results and ensure production plans support target DIO levels while optimizing production and delivery costs.
  
  
• Demand Forecasting & Analytics: Lead the consensus forecasting process for SA Plus Cluster markets by modeling forecasts using IMS data, aligning projections with key stakeholders, and ensuring timely and accurate uploads into global forecasting systems. Measure and report forecast accuracy while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  
• Supply Chain Optimization: Continuously analyze supply chain processes and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and logistics performance. Anticipate potential shipment lead-time disruptions, implement mitigation plans, and drive innovative supply chain solutions that support business growth and return on investment.
  
  
• PLM / NPD Coordination: Coordinate PLM and NPD activities by aligning with Marketing and NPD teams on upcoming launches, synchronizing IBP and SNP data with project timelines, and managing NTM and FG run-outs to minimize write-offs and ensure smooth market transitions.
  
  
• People & Project Management: Recruit, motivate and support the professional development of team members while managing ad hoc projects and additional tasks as assigned. Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or another relevant field.
  
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience within an FMCG company, preferably in Supply Chain, Marketing, or Sales functions.
  
  
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  
  
• Strong analytical and technical capabilities, including MS Office, statistics, financial analysis, advanced software solutions, problem-solving and project/process management skills.
