Logistics and Customer Services Manager
What this position is about – Purpose
The Logistics and Customer Service Manager oversee supply chain operations and delivers top customer service. The role focuses on operational planning, team and 3PL management, continuous improvement, compliance with JTI standards, and cost optimization. Building strong stakeholder ties and managing effective teams helps drive business growth and customer satisfaction across all logistics and service areas.
What will you do - Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Resource Management: Lead outbound logistics and customer service teams, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure adherence to JTI policies. Promote team performance through coaching and uphold company standards.
- Logistics Strategy & Operational Excellence: Develop strategies and best practices to maximise operational and financial efficiency, address inefficiencies, and drive innovative solutions.
- End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Oversee outbound logistics and inventory, ensuring timely, cost-effective deliveries aligned with sales forecasts and quality standards.
- Customer/Consumer Service & Telesales Management: Manage the customer and telesales teams to streamline order processing, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain high satisfaction levels against industry benchmarks.
- Stakeholder & Service Provider Management: Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners, negotiate contracts, enforce compliance, and oversee service provider performance.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track team and operational metrics, implement corrective actions as needed, and prepare regular reports for informed decision-making.
- Compliance, Risk & Continuous Improvement: Ensure compliance with JTI protocols, address challenges promptly, and recommend transport optimisations to improve efficiency and minimise costs.
Whom are we looking for – Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields
- 3-5 years’ experience in business / supply chain in a Managerial position
- English, SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word
