PORTFOLIO & ACTIVATION MANAGER

Develop and implement portfolio strategies to strengthen brand in market, build brand image perception to targeted market by designing brand guidelines and leading all aspects of marketing activities to ensure the right message is delivered for appointed SKU to ensure the brand values and image are followed.

As the Portfolio & Activation Manager, you will do:

  • Portfolio Strategy:
    • Accountable to build brand image based on research information to appointed SKU.
    • Design and implement the setting of brand guidelines, brand vision and brand value to ensure the result aligns with company strategy.                                          
  • Pricing (Brand and Competitor) Strategy:
    • Design pricing strategy of appointed SKU in comparison to competitors' in order to determine which factors matter in deciding brand price for targeted market.
  • Product and NPD:
    • Ensure end-to-end process of product development, developing new business opportunities and pricing of the new product for its launching.
    • Accountable to generating names for new and existing products and services, coming up with ideas for new packaging designs (i.g shape, size, colours, fonts and imagery) align with R&D and GSC.
  • Internal and External Partnership:
    • Coordinate and connect with all internal partners in presenting proposal and managing multiple interests from each department in order to support the brand objective / program deliverables.
    • Maintain communication with external agencies (i.g research agency) on managing all projects that are being develop and create annual assessments of agency's performance to ensure the brand development and launch runs well.
  • Brand Activation:
    • Coordinate and collaborate across functional teams to ensure program implemented aligns with brand image and strategy - develop learning agenda for agile improvements of activation strategies.
    • Manage and supervise the budget for advertising and promotional items and develop and plan potential areas to complete the marketing program.  

 

Who are we looking for?

  • University graduate or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in FMCG marketing functions. Preferably with experience in tobacco industry.
  • Good knowledge in planning and prioritizing brand management, pricing, taxation, and P&L.  
  • Have good understanding of principles of distribution, trade marketing and field marketing.
  • Have experience pricing and new product development is a must.
  • Cross-cultural experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in brand activation strategy and execution is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective engagement with collaborators at all levels.  
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and capable of delivering professional presentations.
