Field Marketing & Trade Activation Executive
The Field Marketing & Trade Activation Executive ensures seamless execution of consumer and trade marketing initiatives aligned with company strategy. Acting as the vital link between head office plans and regional or field implementation, this role fosters collaboration across sales, marketing, and trade marketing teams while adapting strategies to local markets. It plays a key role in boosting brand visibility, product availability, and consumer engagement to drive sales growth, meet brand goals, and secure a competitive edge.
As Field Marketing & Trade Activation Executive, you will:
Coordinating & Managing Activations
- Plan and roll out trade and consumer activation programs across assigned regions.
- Ensure execution follows national standards, brand guidelines, and legal requirements.
- Tailor programs to local market needs while maintaining consistency across regions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and Area Teams to localize national strategies.
- Partner with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to align on priorities.
- Share standard methodologies to facilitate collaboration between head office and field teams
Monitoring Execution & KPIs
- Track activation KPIs (timeliness, compliance, ROI, consumer reach, sales uplift).
- Conduct field visits and audits to assess execution quality.
- Proactively identify gaps or improvement areas and recommend corrective actions
Leading & Supporting Project
- Drive agile national projects or initiatives as assigned.
- Ensure timely delivery within allocated budget and resource constraints.
- Provide execution leadership, troubleshooting, and clear communication during rollouts
Ensuring Strategic Alignment
- Align all activation programs with commercial priorities and Go-to-Market strategies.
- Support sales objectives by focusing activations on driving volume, distribution, and visibility.
- Ensure activation efforts contribute to long-term brand equity and competitive advantage
Reporting & Feedback Mechanism
- Maintain structured reporting templates and tools for consistent updates from regions.
- Consolidate and present field feedback, insights, and recommendations to HO.
- Ensure two-way communication between back office and field sales teams to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in trade marketing, field marketing, or sales, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Proven track record in field execution with a deep understanding of trade and consumer behavior.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in planning and executing activations.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities to evaluate effectiveness and ROI.
- Excellent communication skills and adept at managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
